Review #839 |
A taste
explosion at first in the taste. Besides the dried fruits, you get a little
citrus at first and then some oak and coconut. The finish is just sweet and
smooth, with the sherried notes staying behind for quite a while.
This just
reminds me of a good old Scotch whisky. A bottle that will last for a while, as
you can sit and enjoy a dram for quite some time. The Oloroso Sherry butts is
really doing a great job, and I wouldn’t mind Tomatin making a full Oloroso
matured 18 year old! I will give this 88/100 (22/21/23/22).
