The smell of lemon grass is the first to hit my nose. Nuts and oak comes as well. Just like standing in the boundary of a forest and a meadow.
The taste is smooth- First nuts, and a hint of dried fruits. Especially raisins. The oak influence is consistently all the way to the finish. Definitely a whisky where you get value for your money.
I don´t think that water does much for this whisky. It just takes the ABV further down, and its already down at 40 %. I would love to try this whisky at 43, or even better, 46 %. I will rate this 84/100 (20/22/21/21)
