Review #362 |
This is
from cask 15827 and it is not coloured our chill filtered. Sweet, fresh and
fruity in the smell at first. Malted barley appears right after, giving it a
young touch. Not an immature touch though.
The malted
barley notes goes on to the taste. Again fresh, but this time much more spicy
than in the smell. The malted barley is gone in the finish, where the spices
are accompanied with some fruity sweetness and citrusy notes.
It is a
good dram, but nothing extraordinary. I would categorize it as very pleasant.
Just for a nice summers day in the garden. You can pick up many different
flavours, so if you like to sit and pick a whisky apart, this is a good choice.
I will give this 85/100 (21/22/21/21).
