Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Four
Roses from Warehouse no. DN. The famous Single Barrel! Fruity and spicy with
hints of chocolate, vanilla and oak in the smell. Some burned syrup as well.
Creamy and sweet at first in the taste, and
then right away the alcohol burn arrives. Some oak comes beautifully forward in
the finish, and stays for quite some time with some melted caramel sweetness.
Some fruity notes like plums and figs follows along all the way.
A fine Bourbon, from start to finish, that often
comes at very reasonable price. It is not the last time I have one of these on
the shelf. Do yourself a favour and give it some time, and truly explore it. I
will give this 84/100 (21/21/21/21).
