Saligo Bay is an area close to Kilchoman Distillery – Islay’s most beautiful
bay, according to many. Fresh and clean, yet with the farm-like peat in the smell. Some
grass and hay as well, but it all seems to be a bit in the background.
Much more full-bodied in the taste. The
peat, grass and hay comes forward and mixes with some lime. The finish gets
more sweet with caramel, vanilla and honey. Medium long finish, even though it
seems like some faint notes stays forever…
