Royal Brackla 10 yo (2006/2017), Gleann Mór, 59,8%

Review #556
This is from the series “A Rare Find”. Only 206 bottles were made, and as always from Gleann Mór, it is natural colour and without chill-filtering. Vanilla, coconut, dessert pears and dry oak in the smell.

Very powerful with loads of white fruits and just a hint of citrus in the taste. Some marzipan, oranges and notes of burned oak. The sweetness really comes forward in the finish. Candied apples and vanilla. Very sugary in the end.

It is not very often you come across single malt from Royal Brackla. Most of it is used in Dewar’s blended whiskies. This however, was a very nice, and powerful, acquaintance! I will give this 84/100 (20/21/22/21).
