Review #644 |
This is
bottled for the Swedish market and said to be 6 years old. Sweet salty peat at
first in the smell. It’s a bit dry, and some grassy and mossy notes comes
sneaking in alongside some light citrus. White fruits in the end – especially
apples.
The palate
is more flavourful than I would have guessed! Peat and salt mixed with hints of
citrusy notes in the taste. Some black pepper as well. Very sweet in the
finish. Sweet desert-like pears and vanilla in the end.
