Review #328 |
This is
from Sherry casks, just as we know Glenfarclas. Fruity and notes of oak in the
smell, but also notes of grass and hay. Not very powerful and the flavors don’t
come rushing in. You have to sit and carefully smell your way through the
layers. Different types of sweet marmalade is lies behind it all.
The taste
is a bit more powerful but nothing overwhelming. Very lightly peated and a bit
salty. Some oranges as well. Some vanilla is coming forward in the finish
alongside some gentle oak. The fruity touch is the main character though.
