Review #589 |
This 10
year old is one of the classic entry level whiskies out there. Great price and
it has won several awards over the years. Peat, smoked ham and bacon in the
smell. Grass and hay. Light white fruits lies beneath the heavy peat and give
it some depth.
Fresh grass
and hay mixes in the taste with loads of peat alongside. The vanilla is coming
forward in the finish. Some exotic fruits is hiding in there as well. Like
coconut and pineapple. Just a hint though.
