Review #516 |
This is
called ”Gold SIgnature”, and this specific bottle is bottled 09-02-2017. Fine
elegant Sherry notes and wood spices in the smell. Some notes of dark
chocolate, vanilla and honey as well, but a bit in the background.
Some
elegant oak and spices in the taste. Very gentle. Some dark chocolate and nuts
in the finish which is medium long. The dried fruits are there all the time,
but they hide in the background. There are some smoke or burned oak as well.
Not much, just a touch.
The oak
certainly makes the whisky in this case! Burned oak, spices, elegancy, you name
it. Many things is going on in general, so both a great whisky to sip, but also
to discover. I will give this 85/100 (20/22/21/22).
